
Terms and Conditions
We’re looking forward to working with you! To keep things running smoothly, here are a few things you should know before we get started.
Booking and payments
Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Once you've confirmed you’re happy to accept your quote, we’ll book you in and send a deposit invoice for 25% of the estimated costs. However, if your event is within four weeks, we'll send you an invoice for the full amount. This invoice is due within 7 days of the date of invoice (or immediately if your event is less than 7 days away)!
We’ll need your final guest numbers and menu choices at least 14 days before the big day, so two weeks before your event, we'll contact you to confirm final details including numbers and dietary requirements. After that, we can’t make major changes, but we’ll always do our best to help if needed.
Once these details have been confirmed, we'll send you an invoice for the balance. This final payment is due 7 days before your event, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Our menu is seasonal and subject to availability, so may change at any time. We'll do our best to avoid this, but it may impact on the final cost and menu for your event.
If catering is booked more than 3 months in advance, pricing could be subject to change due to increases in costs.
Changes and cancellations
We know plans can change - if you need to make any amendments to your booking, please let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.
If you need to cancel your booking, this may affect your deposit as follows:
- more than 2 months before your event: 100% refund of deposit (less a $60 admin fee)
- at least 7 days - 2 months before your event: 50% refund of deposit (less a $60 admin fee)
- less than 7 days before: no refund
Dietary requirements
We love making food that works for everyone, so please make sure to let us know about any dietary needs at least 14 days before your event.
Please note, while we always do our best to avoid any cross-contamination of allergens, as we work in a small kitchen, we can’t fully guarantee there won’t be any traces of gluten, wheat, nuts or soy in our food.
All of our products are vegan and are prepared in our vegan kitchen, however some of the ingredients we use may contain traces of dairy/milk or eggs.
General
If your venue has any special requirements (like limited/no kitchen space, tricky access or no parking), please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
If you need good old-fashioned china tableware, trestle tables, hot water urns etc, we can arrange to hire these on your behalf. Costs will be included in your invoice.
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
